Snow Day
The day after winterstorm Grayson hit Raleigh, North Carolina in January 2018 was about a beautiful day as I could ever remember. Not a cloud in the sky as the sun rose, exposing the purest blanket of white. The neighborhood was coming to life with every child exiting their homes in rarely seen snow outfits, armed with sleds and smiles ear to ear, and myself armed, of course, with my Pentax 6x7 and some rolls of Portra 160.
